Silk Crepe de Chine

Crepe de Chine is medium weight, non-sheer, flowing, soft to the touch and has a slight luster. It’s made of 100% silk. Crepe de Chine is easy to manipulate and handle. This silk fabric is durable and doesn’t wrinkle easy. Designers choose this silk fabric to make slacks, lingerie, skirts, dresses, shawls, scarves and evening wear. We recommend dry clean only.

Habotai

Silk Habotai is made of 100%. It’s very light weight and soft to the touch. This fabric is airy, lustrous, has a soft, graceful drape, a smooth surface, and lighter then Charmeuse. This silk sews relatively easily. Silk Habotai is mainly used for dresses, shirts, shawls, scarves and lingerie. We recommend dry clean only.

Silk Knit

Silk Knit is made of 100% silk. This fabric is mid-weight and is perfect for tops, stretch bottoms, underwear, bathing suits, shawls, scarves and athletic sportswear. We recommend dry clean only.

Satin Burnout

Satin burnout is made of silk/rayon. This is a processed silk where parts of the pile have been removed so you can see through around the resulting pattern.  Some areas are sheer and some are satin. It is used for tops, scarves, shawls and dresses. We recommend dry clean only.

Satin Charmeuse

Silk Charmeuse is made with 100% silk. The satin weave is soft, yet supple and drapes beautifully. One side of the fabric has a satin finish, lustrous and reflective, and the back has a dull finish. Satin Charmeuse is mid-weight and is most often used for loose-fitting, drapey blouses and dresses, bridal gowns, evening wear, and lingerie. We recommend dry clean only.

Velvet

Silk velvet is made of a silk/rayon blend. This fabric is heavy weight, wears well and is a very luxurious fabric. Silk velvet is soft and drapes better then other velvet from other materials. It is a nice choice for evening wear, tops, pants, at home wear, draperies, upholstery, home accessories and pillow cases. We recommend dry clean only.

Velvet Burnout

Silk velvet burnout is made of a silk/rayon blend. A design is created by the burnout. Some areas are sheer some are velvet. This fabric wears well and is a very luxurious fabric. It is a nice choice for evening wear, tops, draperies, upholstery. We recommend dry clean only.
