Satin burn out printed silk fabric is not like any other printed fabric. because the print is made on silk we can make unique qualities that can only be produced in silk. One example of this is a silk burn threw. Silk burn threw is a quality of mixed silk and an interwoven material that appears to give the quality a transparent look. The process to make a Satin burn out starts out the same as any other silk print. The silk is printed with rollers one color at a time. The Rollers print a pattern and style that when combined produce a full color print. After the print is made a final roller prints on a chemical layer. The chemical adheres to the fabric in a desired pattern and then the fabric is treated. The treatment process removes the satin material from the garment and leaves behind an sparsely woven thread. The thread is immune to the final rollers chemical a is left behind to give the material structure and an appearance of translucency.
